Our Method

We have a pre-defined method for our phases of work, and understanding them in advance can lead to a better working relationship with our clientele.

Appraisals and estimates

The customer contacts us and explains their needs. We take the time to try and figure out in advance all the potential problems and work-arounds that might be required and let the customers know. We don't expect our customers to know every detail of the business of web design, so we try help anticipate things that the customer might not otherwise.

We give a detailed estimate for the job, including expected time and specific work involved in completing the project.

Acceptance and deposit

Upon acceptance of all the terms and prices, the client starts the work process by putting forth the deposit on the project. The deposit ranges between 30%-50% of the total estimate depending on the type of work and amount involved. The amount of the deposit is given up front with the estimate. Deposits are non-refundable.

We accept via PayPal exclusively. PayPal offers our customers several methods of paying, either through their own PayPal account by eCheck or bank transfer, or by credit card (no PayPal account required).

PayPal is our choice because it is owned by a well known and highly respected internet company, eBay, Inc. Few companies have the experience and staff to manage fraud and internet transactions as eBay, so you know that both your money and private information are safe, something you cannot always be sure of when making payments directly to a small company.

If you need to make a payment now, payment can be made with your paypal account to payments@avant5.net. If you need assistance, please contact us for help.

Work by phase

The estimate will break down the work process in phases. Each of these phases will be completed by us and then delivered to the client for approval. Any changes desired by the client can be made at this time without additional expense. Once the client has agreed upon the final work for each phase, the client signs off on that portion of the work, and then the next phase begins.

If at any time the client wishes to make changes to work already signed-off on, an additional hourly charge will be incurred. The hourly rate for such work is included in the estimates, and a new estimate for such work will be delivered to the customer for approval before any work on changes begins.

Once all phases are completed, the client approves and signs off on the final project and the balance of payment is made.

Repairs and corrections

We're not perfect. You may find spelling errors. You are probably not perfect either, and you may find that something on a page sounded good when you wrote it, but needs rewording, now. For 30 days after we complete your site, all updates and corrections to content are done free of charge.
